Coulson ~ William Woods 04/27/2009 ~ Another great weekend of volleyball!! North Stars 18 Regional competed in Regionals this weekend, playing some great matches! The team fought all the way through the final match, bringing home the Silver medal. Nice job ladies!! The 13 Regional, 14 Regional and 15 Regional also had great weekends!! 04/24/2009 ~ Congratulations to the following players on their recent college commitments: Katelyn
Frakes ~ Avila University 04/24/2009 ~ North Stars teams had a great weekend. The gold teams competed in Regionals. 18 National team had some great matches, just missing the finals. The team finished with a 4th place finish. Also putting in a great performance was the 16 National team who finished with a 5th place in Regionals. The team only lost one match the entire weekend! Nice job ladies. Good Luck to all the North Stars teams competing in Regionals this weekend!! 03/30/2009 ~ North Stars keep on hittin'!! 14 Regional and 15 National both took second place in their tournaments this weekend. Both teams played great in the finals!! Congrats!! Kudo's also go out to the 15 Regional (3rd place) and 16 National (3rd place) teams!!! Starting Friday, many of the North Stars teams will be competing in the Show Me Qualifier. Good Luck to all the teams!! 03/23/2009 ~ 18 Regional had a great tournament in Topeka this past weekend. The finished strong, bringing home a silver medal. Nice job ladies!! Congrats also goes out to the 18 National team for their performance at Crossroads. The ladies finished in the silver bracket...19th out of 102 teams. 03/16/2009 ~ Another great weekend for the North Stars! We had 9 of the 10 team playing this weekend. Congrats go out to the 16 National team (2nd place finish) who made to the finals of the Gold Heart Challenge....only losing one game up to that point. The ladies had a great tournament. Congrats also go out to the 14 Regional team who brought home another 2nd place finish. Way to go ladies!! 18 National (3rd place) and 17 National (3rd place) both had great tournaments...making it to the Gold bracket of Gold Heart. 03/13/2009 ~ The North Stars family would like to welcome Santina (Nina) Marie Bonino. Nina arrived on Feb 27 at 5:22pm. She weighed 6lbs. 1oz. 18.5 inches long. Anthony, Mandy, Joey and Nina are doing great!! We can't wait to see them back in the gym =)
03/09/2009 ~ What a great weekend for the North Stars!! Congrats go out to the 18 National team who placed first at SportZone. Nice job ladies. Congrats also go out to the 14 National (2nd place finish), 15 National (2nd place finish), 18 Regional (2nd place finish) and 17 National (17th at MEQ...gold bracket). Way to go! 03/02/2009 ~ North Stars teams had a great weekend!! Congratulations goes out to the 15 National team who played strong all day, bringing home a 1st place finish from SportZone. Way to go ladies!! Kudo's also go out to the 16 National team (2nd place finish), 14 Regional (2nd place finish) and 15 Regional (3rd place finish). Keep up the good work North Stars!! 02/16/2009 ~ North Stars had many teams in action this weekend. We saw some great volleyball matches. Top honors go out to the 18 National and 16 National teams, who both competed in the President's Day Classic in Omaha. Both teams played some awesome matches, finishing the tournament in 9th place (in the gold bracket). Kudo's also goes out to the 15 Regional team who won their bracket in Omaha and 14 Regional, who won their bracket at Silver Heart Challenge. Great job North Stars!!! 2/12/2009 ~ Congratulations goes out to the 17 National team who brought home a gold medal this past weekend. The team had a great day of matches. One of the highlights came from Shelby Corkill who took the second pass off her head, for a perfect set to Heather Schieber, who put it down. Way to use your head!! Congrats also go out to the 18 National team who played some great games, bringing home a second place finish. Nice job ladies!! Good luck to all the teams playing this weekend in the Asics President Day tournament in Omaha, and in Silver Heart Challenge. 1/27/2009 ~ Kudo's to the 15 National for placing third in their tournament this past weekend. The team played up in the 17 Silver division. The team played hard and worked well together all day. Nice job ladies!! 1/19/2009 ~ 16 National brings home a third place finish!! The team had a great day, finishing second in their pool this weekend. The girls played some great matches, with some crazy rallies. Great job girls!! 1/07/2009 ~ Congrats go out to the 15 Regional team who finished 1st in their pool this past weekend. They played some great matches. The team brought home a third place finish...which is a great way to start the season. Nice job ladies!! 01/04/2009 ~ Way to go North Stars 17 National and 18 National teams. Both teams competed in the Power League Qualifier this past weekend. The 17 National team had some great matches, securing a spot in the tournament. The 18 National had an awesome day. The team went undeafted in pool play. The team finished in 3rd place (T), setting them up for the following Power League tournament. Good luck to these teams, as well as those competing in the qualifiers next weekend. 12/20/2008 ~ Congratulations to the 17 National team for starting off the season with a BANG!! The team played today in the Power League Warmup and came home with a second place finish. The team played some great matches. We look forward to watching them in the upcoming weeks in the Power League Qualifier. Great job ladies (and coaches)! 11/10/2008 ~ We would like to thank everyone who came to tryouts this past weekend. We would like to congratulate all players....new and returning. We are looking forward to a great club season. Practice schedules will be posted by the end of this week. 10/26/2008 ~ Thanks to all those players who attended Open Gym. We had a great turn out! Look forward to seeing you at tryouts. 09/04/2008 ~ North Stars VBC will hold an open gym to allow players to sharpen their skills and prepare for tryouts. Also at this time North Stars coaches will be on hand to answer any questions players/parents may have or to just introduce themselves. Open
