~ Congratulations to the North Stars 18 National team
on securing a bid to Nationals. The team will compete in the
2011 Girls' Junior National Championship, in Atlanta GA, June
30-July 3rd.

~ This past weekend the 16 Regional team competed in
the Silver Regional Tournament. The team played some great matches,
finishing 5th overall. This team had a great season!! The 16
Regional team brought home three 1st places finishes, as well
as many top 3 finishes. Nice job coaches and ladies!! Congrats
also goes out to the 15 Regional team (Missy and Mindy)
who finished their season with a bang! The team finished 9th
out of 39 teams this past weekend at the Silver Regional tournament.
Good job coaches and ladies!!
Good
luck to those team participating in the Show Me Qualifier this
weekend and next!!

~ Congrats to the 18 National team who placed 3rd at
the Region Bid Tournament. The teams only match loss came in
the Semi Finals, against Kansas Networks, who won the Region
Bid.

~ Congratulations to the following teams on doing a great job
at their tournaments:
16 Regional placed first at the HOA Series (March 12).
The girls played some great matches throughout the day, bringing
home the GOLD medal. Nice job ladies and coaches!
10 and under's played in their final tournament (March
13) of the season.
The girls made great progress throughout the season, and it
showed on the court. Congrats to Coach Renna and the girls.

National finished off their Power League (March 13) schedule
placing
5th out of 11 teams. Way to go ladies!
18
National competed in the Crossroads Qualifier (March 18-20)
in Denver,
Colorado. The team finished 1st in both pools on Friday and
Saturday, not
losing a game. The girls played some amazing matches on Sunday,
losing
a tough match in three in the semi's. This was the teams only
loss of the
weekend. The team finished the tournament strong, playing off
for 3rd place,
and winning the match. Nice job ladies!!

~ Congrats to the 15 National team on finishing 2nd in
Topeka this past weekend!! The team had some great matches throughout
the day. The finals were a battle, taking the match to three
games. Nice job ladies!!

~ 18 National team had their first Power League play
date this past weekend. They finished the day 3-2. They played
some great matches! Good Luck in the next play date! The 10
and under team played in their first festival this weekend.
The girls made great strides as the day went on. We look forward
to seeing them play in the next tournament!

~ The 16 Regional team had another fantastic tournament.
The team played some tough matches, and finished big...bringing
home the GOLD medal. Keep it up ladies! The 15 National
team played again this past weekend. The team played well, just
missing the finals. Good job!!

finals of their tournament this past weekend. The team played

~ Congratulations to the 16 Regional team who played
in their first tournament of the season and brought home the
GOLD medal. The team played some great matches only dropping
two games the entire day. Nice job ladies!! Congrats also goes
out to the 16 National team who qualified for Power League!

~ 2011 is HERE!! North Stars teams were in action this past
weekend. The 15 National team started out strong. The
team played in Topeka, KS, where they got through pool play
with great success. The team played strong through the entire
tournament, bringing home a second place finish. The 16 National
team competed at KCKCC. The team played well for their first
tournament, placing 2nd in pool play. They finished with a 5th
place finish, out of 15 teams. The 18 National team competed
in the Power League Quailifier. The team had some great matches,
and played well enough to Qualify for Power League. Good Luck
to them in the future PL play dates.

Luck to those North Stars teams who will be playing this upcoming
weekend!!!

Tryouts
for the 2010-2011 club season will be held on Saturday, November
6th for the age groups 14 years and younger. Tryouts
for the 15's and older will be held on Saturday, November 13th.
All tryouts will be held at Parkville Athletic Complex (6014
N Hwy 9, Parkville MO). Times will be announced in September.
We
will be hosting an Open Gym for the younger ages (14 and younger)
the last part of October. Open Gym for the older ages (15 and
over) will be held early November. We will post these dates/times
in September.
