~ Finally got our technical issues fixed, so we are back up
and running. We have had many teams in action the last couple
of weeks. Want to give kudos' to the 17
Regional team who brought home a 1st place finish.
The team played some great matches! Nice job ladies and coaches!!
The 16 National team played
this past weekend in Topeka. The team played some great volleyball,
and finished in 3rd place. Way to go
North Stars!!!! Good luck to those teams playing
this weekend!!

- We would like to wish all the North Stars families a Merry

- Practices have been in full swing for a couple months now.
We are seeing alot of hard work put in by the players and coaches.
Many of the teams are looking forward to playing in their first
tournament.
The
16 National, 17
National and 18 National
teams played in the Power League warm-up this past weekend at
HOA. The 18 National team
tied for 1st in pool play. The team played some great matches,
bringing home 3rd place finish. Way to go STARS!!!!

- New this year: All players need to register individually with
HOA beginning Sept. 1st. Individuals will need to go online
at the HOAVB.org site to register and pay their 2012 HOA member
fees*. This early registration is in place of try-out forms
and will allow players quick access to open gyms and try-outs.
PLAYERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN OPEN GYMS OR TRY-OUTS
WITHOUT A HOA MEMBERSHIP CARD.
*if
a player does NOT MAKE A 2012 CLUB TEAM, they will receive a
refund.

14 National - Julia Labella and Diann Labella (4 spots open)
12 National - Rena Moore (5 spots open)

teams will have 9 players.

Kathy Hunter has been elected as the Junior Player Parents Representative
on the HOA board. Laura Tomney was elected by the club directors
to be the Junior Player Club Representative. Terry Wright
has been elected as the Adult Outdoor Player Representative.
